robertbaltaru.space is the personal portfolio of Robert Baltaru, a software developer. It is a simple website that shows my projects and skills. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no forms and no comments, so you never have to give me any personal information to use it.
I do not collect, store, process or sell any personal data about you, and I do not use your data for any purpose such as profiling, advertising or marketing. The website has no database and no server-side code of its own. It is a set of static pages.
This website does not set cookies of its own. It only remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device and is never sent to me or to anyone else. The language you see is decided by the address of the page (for example /en/ or /ro/), not by anything stored about you.
I use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which pages they open. Google may set its own cookies and receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type for this purpose. I only see anonymous statistics and I cannot identify you from them. You can block this with your browser settings or a content blocker. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page opens. The links to GitHub, LeetCode, LinkedIn, my email and my other websites take you to services run by other companies. They have their own privacy policies and I am not responsible for what they do with your data.
Like most websites, the server that hosts these pages may keep standard technical logs, such as the time of a request and the visitor's IP address, for security and troubleshooting. I do not use these logs to track or identify visitors.
The text, design and code of this website are by Robert Baltaru unless stated otherwise, and the project names and logos shown belong to their respective owners. Please ask before reusing my content. My CV can be downloaded from the footer.
